From Aromatic License Services you can expect:
1. Initial Contact
Our personnel will visit your site to explain, on a non-confidential basis, the key features, and advantages of our different technologies that are available for license. Following this initial meeting, depending on your needs, a technology-specific confidentiality agreement will be prepared for your review.
2. Detailed yield estimates
After the execution of a confidentiality agreement, detailed yield estimates based on your specific feedstock and unit operating constraints will be provided. This information will illustrate the unique advantages that our technologies can bring to your facility. With these yield estimates, you will be able to evaluate the economics of the proposed project before moving to the next stage.
3. Feasibility study
ExxonMobil will work closely with you to define the scope of the project based on your needs for higher capacity, improved efficiency, or higher purity, and ensure that the technologies are employed in their optimal configuration within your plant.
4. Disclosures
We will provide you with a formal licensing proposal, based on the results of the feasibility study for your plant, including sufficient technical and financial data to allow you to make an informed decision.
5. License negotiation
ExxonMobil offers a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to utilize specific technologies, and produce the specified products at your site. All representations, warranties, or guarantees associated with our technologies and future licensing services will be contained in these agreements.
