engine oils are in demand because of their performance benefits and many
manufacturers recommend these high-quality lubricants for their engines.
ExxonMobil Chemical offers a complete line of SpectraSyn, SpectraSyn Plus and
SpectraSyn Ultra polyalphaolefins (PAO), Esterex esters and Synesstic AN
blendstocks as base fluids for synthetic lubricants used in passenger car
engines, heavy-duty engines and small engines such as 2-stroke and 4-stroke.
Our synthetic base fluids also can assist formulators in upgrading mineral oil
formulations to meet challenging specifications such as GF-4 for passenger car
engine oils and PC-10 for heavy-duty engine oils. In addition, our synthetic
base fluids can help meet manufacturers' extended oil drain interval
requirements.
